Quick Start: Connect Your First Data Source

Easy Insight starts with a connection to the system where your data lives. This guide takes you from your first sign-in to a data source you can build reports on.

Step 1. Obtain the API key, or credentials for the product you want to connect.

Step 2. Sign in and follow the Guided Setup path.

OR From Home, click the green + Add a Data Source button, then choose a connection.

Connection types differ. Some use API keys, and some ask for a login and then request an access grant (like Google). See Connections for more information.

Most connections have a Prebuilt Dashboard that can be accessed from Home or Quick Links.

Your connection is set to refresh nightly by default. To change the time or frequency, see Scheduling and Real Time Data Refresh for more information.
